How Pryzm Lab works

A LUT is the “recipe” that gives footage its color and mood — and it's invisible until it's applied, which is why a pack can look immaculate in the marketing and fall apart on your footage. Pryzm Lab measures what a LUT actually does to an image, tells you in plain language what's wrong with it, and repairs the defects without touching the look you paid for.

  1. 1

Drop in the LUT that isn't working.

A pack you bought that bands on skies. A look you graded in Resolve that crushed the shadows on export. Anything that reads wrong and you can't say why. Drag the .cube in — no account, nothing to install.

  2. 2

See exactly what's broken — free.

We measure it against the same rails we hold our own output to and score it out of 100, in plain language: banding, clipping, skin drifting off natural, hues twisting under saturation. You see the whole report before you decide to pay for anything. Style is never counted as a fault — a split-toned look is a choice, not a defect.

  3. 3

Repair it, and watch the score move.

One repair fixes what can be fixed and leaves your grade alone — corrections stay surgical, not a re-grade. You get a before/after scorecard showing each problem and what happened to it. Some damage can't be undone: clipping throws away detail that isn't in the file any more, so we improve those as far as is safe and tell you so, rather than inventing detail.

  4. 4

Download a LUT you can ship.

Compare the two side by side on a test chart, then take the repaired .cube straight to your timeline. It's your file — we claim no rights in it. Questions or feature requests? Send them in at contact.
